I too care more about what the new 60 series will look like, preferably the V60!

I’m excited about the launch of the new XC60 - if it looks inside and out like the XC90, I have a strong suspicion it’ll be my next car.

Bought my wife a 2013 with CVT. Personally, I don’t enjoy driving it nearly as much as my 2005 Legacy GT. For my wife, who has no interest in ever getting sideways, it is perfect. The 2013 is a beast in the snow, and gently but firmly corrects all her mistakes. The traction control works far better in the snow than my

Mine ended up looking like this.

It’s a bit hard to summon any enthusiasm for a car that is a bit more powerful than a Hellcat and will probably be driven by someone that I consider an asshole.

Why do you bring a car, though ?

Going to the car dealership and realizing that you know way more than the salesman does about a particular brand, who didn’t even try to do his / her research.

Or that the salesman is really stupid.

When friends and family ask me for advice for what car they should buy. I give them several really good, interesting options. Then, they ignore those choices and end up buying a Camry.

I’ve been to Iceland AND Wyoming.

One year at FJ Summit in Ouray, Colorado, I was running Imogene Pass in reverse in my 2011 FJ Cruiser. I’m on 285/75R16 Duratrac’s aired down to about 20 PSI, and what comes around the corner, but a gaggle of Denver Range Rovers on 19-20 inch wheels with 40-45 sidewall tires not aired down one bit.

Nah they will, they’ll get a flat and need to flag down someone to fix it for them. Then they won’t stop talking about their new car and Toyotas ‘legendary’ reliability.

Well, there’s that tricky bit at the far end of the mall parking lot. That’s pretty gnarly.

*scrolls back up, realizes it is indeed not a wagon*

I’ve shared this story before, and I’ll share it again.

Counterpoint: Polestar.
A nice V60 wagon in Swedish Racing Green.

There’s only one reason I give any amount of scheiße about GM selling Opel ... it makes it that much less likely that we’ll get a Buick Regal wagon. I want that wagon!

Requirements? At an FCA dealer? I not even sure “Having the money” is all that important.

They are good, just not as good.

The Nissan Rogue: the official car of the girl that peaked in highschool, but is now wading into her early 30's. She thought that her good looks would allow her to get by with a bitchy personality and no real career plan, but she was wrong. Now she works unskilled jobs, but never in retail or food service because she

The Rogue is an acceptable vehicle.
