Psychic is weak to bug. Bugs are poison types most of the time, and weak to psychic. But Jolteon? Sure he doesn't get that stab bonus, but psychic types usually have terrible defense anyway.

In Gen 1 it wasn’t Thunder that kept Jolteon on my team. It wasn’t the ability to paralyze opponents. It was Pin Missile, a surprisingly useful move only learned by him and Beedrill!
