Everything after “does Trump not understand” is pretty pointless. Donnie does not understand. 

With every tweet and every interview and every statement made in front of a helicopter, Donnie makes it seem like his job - like his previous one hosting a reality tv show - is about ratings and story lines.

His followers and fans have learned to justify his behavior in the same way that he lies about himself:

This is what makes my head spin and causes blood to start spilling out of my ears. It has become the default response and there’s absolutely nothing that can be said in response. It has replaced Fake News as the go-to.

I am not looking forward to Kellyanne using this as further, unimpeachable proof that Donnie is the most female-empowering president in the history of the united states, and maybe ever. If it hasn’t already happened.

Also not (necessarily) a criticism of the idea but of the execution: the article would be helped if how the request for info was made. Maybe share the text?
