@ModernBawhair: They said they'd only sue those who gain access to their proprietary software or modify it in order to cheat.

@BadFloppy: According to the NPR transcript, they meant hack as in access their proprietary software (what really makes Kinect recognize your body and you as a human being).

@jepzilla: It's carried over since the DOS days.

@CougarAries: MacBooks don't need to be hacked to run Windows, they are able to using the built-in BootCamp utility.

@Brookespeed: Sure, people do travel and need to work on the go, but is the bulk of their work done remotely?

@boe_d001: I agree mostly, but regarding #7: Search is your friend.

@showbiz2: The point isn't to remove local storage... It's to have always-synchronized data between both your local drives and your Skydrive. You change computers, your data follows you.

@OgilvyTheAstronomer: From a regular user's perspective, I don't see how the UNIX file system is any better than having drive letters.

@Brookespeed: That would only apply to smartphones and tablets, no? I mean, I can't imagine doing most of my computer work out at a park bench. I do it at home and at the office, where I have always-on Internet connections.

@lankysob: *Snickers at the dirty jokes you just set yourself up for*

@o0RaidR0o: My point was that, like the examples given, 3D is a stepping stone towards something more awesome.

@Hami83: I don't know. You know how usually a technology comes along that shows a lot of promise, only to be swept away in a short time by another technology?

Subscription service tightly integrated into iOS devices like WP7 + Zune Pass?

@Dexomega: Who said it wasn't made for this?

@Jesse Tobiason: Haters gon' hate. My friend pre-ordered it and after reading nitpicky reviews from Ars Technica and Kotaku he was getting buyer's remorse and was thinking of not even opening the package and reselling it on Ebay.

@TomServo: Windows has Avid (still the industry standard) and also Adobe CS5. What's your point?

Oh God, take a fucking joke. Mac vs PC ads were ridiculously stereotypical and frankly offensive to PC users, and exaggerated things to prove their already dubious points. At least this one doesn't make you want to punch the Mac guy.
