The "what" isn't as important as the "how".

C# and VB.NET for now. If you're a software developer today, you at least know the C/C++ syntax. This syntax is very similar across a myriad of modern object oriented languages, like Java and C#. Objective-C, the language used to develop iPhone apps, has much higher learning curve because of how different the syntax

Big name developers. Joe Schmo from the 5th floor may get a developer phone, but certainly not one of the retail phones, if his app is appealing enough.

And WP7 has oodles of market share. No, DirtyDogg is right. There are tens of thousands of .NET developers that can leverage their expertise and easily churn out a WP7 app (whether it's of any quality is a whole other argument altogether, sadly) with a minimal learning curve.

I usted to stop by for Matt Buchanan and John Herrman's articles, but Matt's been lowering himself to this same BS and John doesn't write frequently enough for me to keep Giz in my reader subscriptions. I think this'll be it for me.

Gizmodo (Gawker?) troll-baiting. This place has gone to the shitter the last few months.

@Spustatu: It's obviously a matter of taste, as aesthetics are subjective to an extent, but I think the Honeycomb UI is a little overdone. IMO it kinda looks like those bombastic made-up UIs in movies.

@Ceric Neesh: I love Grooveshark as well. I'm glad they dropped their all-flash UI too.

@mdtusz: Hmm, looks cool. It's very similar to Blip.fm in concept. I stopped using Blip.fm because I hated their web app. This looks like it might do the trick.

@kalleboo: I hear ya and I agree, but queue a small violin... Things are hardly fair in the "free market".

@twophrasebark: 10 years ago, maybe. Now... IE has less than 50% browser share.

So they're using IE to track users' browsing behavior... Regardless of the site they're visiting. They're not specifically targeting Google.

    That's a lot sooner than I thought.

@blunt_machetti: That is really strange. I've got a notebook open right now on Safari on my MBP. Are you in the US? Perhaps it's a US only thing.

@blunt_machetti: ?? No. I use OneNote daily. Have never installed it in either my PC or my MBP. I add, edit, delete, and view my OneNote notebooks to my heart's content on the browser.

@kniteowl: Seems to be US only for now. :-/

@Audaxero: Err... You can access SkyDrive and OneNote from any computer/OS, via the browser.

It actually works pretty well. Evernote is about to be deleted off my iPhone. OneNote shall be on my dock.

Damn it, Isildur, cast it into the goddamn fire!

@MayorBloomberg: When you said "shit changes", you (unwittingly) hit the nail on the head.
