    @twinturbo2: Yes, id Software developed it, but it's 3DR/Apogee IP.

    I wonder what other 3DRealms IP might get "saved" by another developer. Commander Keen, perhaps?

    @Audaxero: I believe the words were "It's a great gaming device."

    I'm sure it'll be all the rage with high school kids. The quality of the iPhone 4 camera's pretty good, but still far from being comparable to dedicated cameras.

    @rchambas1: It's not a question of whether or not it multitasks. Although every other mobile OS out there does it, webOS has hands-down the best multitasking implementation and user-friendly experience of them all.

    @Cintax: Promoted and hearted.

    @ssspinball: webOS already had HTML5 as well (It's always had a WebKit browser). Most importantly, universal search, as well as merging social network and cloud contacts with your phone contacts were features introduced on webOS, with iPhone quickly playing catch-up in iOS 3.x, and Android with 1.6.

    @RaindropBebop: Buddy, Google and Apple borrowed HEAVILY from Palm's inventions to make Android and iOS. To put it simply, you wouldn't be talking about iOS or Android had it not been for Palm pioneering most of what we know as a PDA.

    @Vidit: Manufacturers. Of course, being posted on a consumer tech site makes it seem like it's their marketing material. It isn't.

    @monkeybutler.ian: Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free AV software and it comes directly from them. Your argument is invalid.

    Hmm... what automated testing are they talking about? If it's unit testing, they're completely bullshitting.

    @baneyu: I hate to be that guy, but... "Oh, SNAP!"

    @RenRen: Careful. Same thing could be said about you. They've been releasing more of the same for 3 years.

    @Dr. Evil Genius: Guns of Summer: I took TechCrunch off my RSS feed a long time ago, mainly because Michael Arrington and MG Siegler are opinionated douchebags that can't keep their opinions away from their reporting.
