I feel so stupid watching a videogame with a caricature of Jordan, with an ear-to-ear smile on my face. Man that guy made basketball exciting.

@Dr. Evil Genius: Guns of Summer: The TechCrunch article was from a guest writer rambling about an analyst's guesstimates. It was mostly saying that all this money is basically going to waste. Doesn't seem to me like drumming up hope for anything.

@spambin: That's an overtly simplistic point of view. Do you think code writes itself? People work hard on making these apps, and they should get paid.

@Hello Mister Walrus: If you're a casual developer, you'll be turned off by the learning curve of iPhone development, and the god-awful syntax of Objective-C.

I honestly don't know why this is such a big deal. Twitter was aflutter with retweets of that one TechCrunch article.

@Hello Mister Walrus: I'd choose iPhone to make a short-term profit... Use the money I made to port to other platforms later on. If you've got the resources to put your app on multiple platforms, it's really dumb to stay on just one.

@ddhboy: You have no idea what you're talking about. It's $99 per year, with the ability to submit as many paid apps as you want for free. You can submit up to 5 free apps for free, with each subsequent free app costing you $20. Stop spreading misinformation.

@BLToday: He's misinformed. It's $99/year to be a registered developer. You can submit as many paid apps as you like for "free". Up to 5 free apps, and every subsequent free app is $20. This preposterous $99 for each app rumor needs to die now.

In my hometown of Mayaguez, Puerto Rico, this would be a huge hit. Half the year it basically rains every day, so the humidity there is kind of insane.

@Doople: Minion masters were ridiculously overpowered before they capped the minions at 10... This was a good decision, and it made the game a lot more balanced.

Ugh... this makes absolutely no sense (no pun intended).

@copperisblue: I'm more surprised it accepts thumb drives, or even has USB drivers for that matter.

@Mavlis: Agreed. My dream scenario would be, I'm working on my laptop at my desk, then I undock the screen and it becomes a tablet, which I can use for some of the activities you mentioned, along with work that I need to do while standing/moving around.

I am still not convinced of the usefulness of the tablet form factor. The only tablet that actually piqued my interest was the Courier.

@Prostate of Grace: I usually don't mind insensitive comments (in fact I get a kick out of them every once in a while), but I can't help being offended by this.

    New Apple TV.

@moonshadowkati: He's making fun of the phrase "dragging their heals" in the second sentence of the article. It should be "heels". It was pretty clever IMO.

Man, that Bieber chick looks just like Hillary Swank on Boys Don't Cry.

@diredesire: Interesting, thanks. I had no idea that this was a common practice.
