Ugh, this is a bad idea. I hope Microsoft comes to their senses (yeah, I did) and doesn't allow this to happen.

@Mike43110: Yep, it's hard to be a programmer and not like it. It's like studying medicine yet hating to memorize. You'll give up eventually, no matter how obstinate you are.

@ddhboy: Also, Instant Streaming isn't available everywhere. In Puerto Rico, for instance, you can get the DVD rentals in the mail but not the streaming service.

@ericesque: Yeah, I thought my comment was ridiculous enough that it would be obvious that I was being sarcastic... But seeing some of the other comments here, I guess I didn't think large enough.

@brianbeatdown: A company making its own services exclusive to its own devices? Say it ain't so! Wait a minute, Apple does it too?

@(Splat): Yes, they would. Every page is a different logical list.

@dallasmay: You're looking at it from the perspective of a consumer and not a creator. It's damn near impossible to find 250 coders that are so prolific that come up with 50,000 unique apps, even over the course of a year. Even if you have a creative team of people getting together to come up with ideas for apps, it's

@Star Vixen: There are no direct answers to any of those questions. I would expect the pricing to be the par-for-the-course $200 on contract.
