I’m most looking forward to when my buddy who is notoriously apathetic to most movies watches this film that took 30 years of dedicated craft to make, and says, “It’s all right”.

I don’t think it’s ever a good look for actors to badmouth other people’s films. And it’s especially a strange look for Curtis, who has made some great movies, but also plenty of subpar ones.
Yep, from possibly the greatest movie review the AVClub ever published.
He could do his love scenes like Steven Seagal—-how did the AVClub describe it? ”A portly Steven is lowered, fully clothed, like a drawbridge, onto his conquest”.
I tend to agree that Ed Helm’s angry entitled white guy is so tiresome that it makes me wonder who still wants to see it? Everything else in the show I found to be pleasant and entertaining but that isnt too much of a compliment for a tv show looking for more viewers.
I thought the first season was OK. Was pleasent to watch but wasn’t all that memorable and I don’t remember a lot of big laughs either. Issue might be that I just don’t find Ed Helms that funny overall. But will keep watching.
And this is why those turkeys shouldn’t be pardoned every Thanksgiving. Cook those fat, tasty suckers!
You know who else was a D-lister? Iron Man.
“This is the right thing to do in this situation. If the server had to do this, it means she’s been dodging.”
Extra douche points for "societal imperative". Could have just said "goals".
Wow. I remembered “Marmalade Wine” but had forgotten -maybe never realized- that Morse’s fellow player in that one was Rudy Vallee! Nice little How to Succeed reunion.
A fellow Night Gallery fan! Nice!
10 out of 10 Helens agree.
I have been visiting IMDB for more than 20 years. Until today, I had never heard of IMDBtv
Yeah, it’ll be interesting to see how much range Simmons has (the roles I’ve seen him in tend toward a bit of typecasting, albeit with either a dramatic or a comedic spin on it) but Spacek could sell a dramatic reading of the Yellow Pages.
J.K. Simmons. Sissy Spacek. Sci-fi. I don’t even need to know anything else about this. I’ll be watching the minute it goes live.
Has everyone lined up to present their hot take on the Will Smith/Chris Rock thing from The Oscars? No need to get into separate groups for who you think is right or wrong, we’ll just be going through the entire population of the planet alphabetically to ensure both that everyone gets to throw in their two cents…
Jim Carrey weighed in because he was asked about it. 99.9 % of these stories about celebs weighing in on things (are Marvel movies cinema/Oscars slap, whatever) is because they’re asked about it on press junkets to generate headlines...like the one Carrey’s doing for Sonic 2. But you know this.
You know, it occurs to me that if you don’t think that a celebrity’s response to something is particularly noteworthy, then you have the option to simply NOT REPORT ON IT. This weird sort of unearned condescending snark may be Barsanti's trademark, but I'll be damned if I can understand why it's something that the GMG…
Hey, he both vehemently denies wrongdoing AND deeply apologizes? Well, I’m convinced!
