Huh, I have never been able to see what the hell was painted on Charles Napier’s forehead before. At first I thought it was just glare from the lights, then I thought it might be a makeup smudge, then I realized I didn’t give a crap because the episode was so bad.

I liked the first one, although at this point I’ve seen it enough times that I think I’m good for a few Christmases. The second one had some high points - mainly Elizabeth Mitchell’s Mrs. Claus (who was kind of two-dimensional, but I was probably still crushing on her since Lost anyway) - but the “plastic Santa” and

I’ve always loved the first F/X - the script is pretty contrived I suppose but it’s a great practical effects showcase, and both Brown and Dennehy are such naturalistic actors. A terrific little late-night movie - plus Jerry Orbach as the mob boss!
