Thanks for the spoiler headline.
Thanks for the spoiler headline.
FYI, CNN had an asterisk next to that “DNA” quote where it said stated she had made that comment made weeks before the Golden Globes speech.
In general I’m opposed to it too, but my main gripe is with regular movies where the sets, lighting, costumes, direction, etc. all incorporated artistic decisions by the director and designers based on the black-and-white medium being used. But I can see the logic more for documentaries - especially war documentaries…
It’s pretty salty, but agree that it’s great.
The old ones tasted like cardboard and frequently stuck to the roof of your mouth (we were told you weren’t supposed to chew them for some reason - which never made sense to me, since it was supposed to represent the bread from the Last Supper and I’m pretty sure the apostles chewed that - but then suddenly that…
I wonder how long it will take them to CGI Christopher Plummer’s face over Jeffrey Tambor’s?
It’s semi-heresy I suppose, but I think in many ways I actually preferred Seasons 8-9 with Doggett and Reyes more than Season 7. The Mulder/Scully was kind of running out of steam towards the end, there.
Trump orders Sessions to fire Mueller in 5... 4... 3...
Waiting for the inevitable headline about HBO “dropping a Deuce”.
Of course nothing is above examination. And I wasn’t implying the entire cast was supposed to be satirical, because obviously if you don’t have audience stand-ins like Jim and Pam (or several characters, preferably, of varying degrees of normalcy) then the show devolves into just a bunch of weird characters you laugh…
I don’t think it’s an example of how the show is aging badly due to changing sensibilities, I just think it’s an example of a GQ writer who doesn’t like how satire works - that is, to provide an obvious example of bad or ridiculous behavior in order to point out how bad or ridiculous it is.
I’m still heavily invested in Schrute bucks.
In a possibly related move, Dippin’ Dots has just released their newest flavor - “Walt Disney’s Head”.
At the risk of striking a match here, my wife was somewhat taken aback that the very first thing the new woman doctor did was press the “wrong” button on the console which made everything fall apart. I viewed it more as a simple “when the doctor first regenerates, he/she is a little confused” (especially since the…
What consistently amuses me with these kinds of elaborate conspiracy theories is the incredible amount of intelligence, planning, cooperation, and patience it would require from a large number of people over a long period of time to pull off. I see no evidence of these abilities from either party (especially not from…
Guests can now experience the terrors of our 45th President as they pass the time waiting for their “Haunted Mansion” FastPass timeslot.
This is a terrible idea.
It sounds like a bluff. I wonder what harm it would have done to wait until they actually hired an attorney and submitted an actual cease-and-desist, rather than just a phone call? I’m guessing once the Staggering Ox found out how much the attorneys fees would be, they’d probably just let it drop. I know Half Brothers…
That Atlas robot video was pretty awesome, though.
