Same! I am in the grey usually, so I am trying to take advantage of this brief opportunity to point it out. I commented on it a few times, but it just seemed to fall on deaf ears. Glad I wasn't the only one!!!

That's exactly what they do. Mindy Kaling gets a lot of worship on Jez as a role model and inspiration for women and women of color in entertainment, and that episode was so egregious it is frankly shocking it hasn't been mentioned on this site once. They even had an article about an interview with Kaling last week…
Ok, that's good - I'm glad you got sources and addressed this issue, because it's an important one that is quite contentious.

In white people's defense....we are pretty terrible.

Scalia was appointed during Reagan's term and Congress had wrangled over William Rehnquist earlier, and were wary of turning down the first Italian-American nominee to the bench. He was given a pretty light round of questioning…
I'm not saying they get the short shrift when it comes to mental health - I'm simply saying that women are generally inseparable from motherhood when portrayed in media, hence why the stories about this woman are so focused on the post-partum depression angle, rather than the schizophrenia and bipolar medications.…
