I don't think you understand what I was saying. I have more comments in the conversation below that might help elucidate my meaning. No need for the aggressive response.

Time for BlackCatAss!!!

Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at in my comment. Men can be separate from parenthood in the media, and usually are. Women, generally, are not - it goes hand in hand with their jobs, personalities, etc.

Well, that's my point, though maybe it didn't come across quite as I meant. To the media, being a good mother isn't newsworthy, or out of the norm - it is what is expected of women, hence all the hoopla over what kind of woman you are if you don't want kids, etc.

Yeah, c'mon! Women are all overly emotional because of our birthing holes and tubes, we don't operate with "logic". Psh.

Because mother = good parent in the media's eye. Anything that deviates from that trope is a tragedy that overshadows anything else. Were the victim a father, you can be sure the focus would be on the schizophrenia and bipolar treatments.

"She tipped her head back in ecstasy as she reached climax, writhing and moaning in ecstasy as the waves of pleasure rolled over her. Sweat rolled down the length of her body and she sighed in pleasure.

And on your taxes....

Dang. Silly men and their weird bodies!

I'll bet that bitch even dared to wear shoes.

Yaaaay, obsession with modesty! Just keeps rearing its ugly head.

Given that Tina Fey's episode featured a skit very clearly stolen from a comedian named Iliza Shlesinger whose comedy special is on Netflix (if you check it out, it's the airplane boarding bit), I am already disappointed and will not be bothered to watch.

True dat. I'm not even mildly embarrassed because it's too amusing!

Bahahaha OMG Kinja what the hell. Yep, totally wrong thread. Oh well.

GOOD.

GOOD.

An amazing book entitled "The Guide to Getting It On" helped me a ton before I'd even delved into sex or oral. I'd barely made out with anyone by the time I read it (at 16) but it helped to make sex less mysterious and scary, and gave some great tips for focusing on pleasuring yourself and your partner and why those

ZOMG, A COMPLICATED, FLAWED CHARACTER THAT FEELS LIKE YOU'RE WATCHING AN ACTUAL PERSON GO THROUGH STUFF?

Agreed. Also "daddy issues". Shudder.
