It seems LG is merely catering to the ever-angry, ever-vocal Fandroid minority that has infested the Web lately (the most obnoxious group of fanboys ever).

I will never understand the unbelievable amount of hype (and sales) for the CoD games. Battlefield BC2 destroys CoD in almost every way, yet doesn't see the sales numbers. I don't get it.

I will never understand the love for the COD games. They have such a corny, arcade-y fighting dynamic compared to Battlefield BC2.

As a federal government employee, I can assure you there is nothing "alleged" about Microsoft favoritism. It's an undeniable fact. If it's not from Microsoft, it doesn't get a second look at my very large agency. Not even open source browsers, which are *free*, get consideration.

"because I very definitely know I can't afford one on my own"

@-zargon-: "I would like to start a Android tablet movement here at work. I am so sick of all the iPads and the users crazy demands of us in IT."

@ClearEnigma: Who came up with the bogus "no such thing as bad press" line? Negative press that makes you look like a bunch of tasteless morons is *not* the kind of press you want people "talking about" and "exposed to." Period.

Google is launching satellites equipped with these microphones as we speak.

Plants Vs. Zombies (iPad) has been the most addictive iOS experience for me yet (finally beating out Fieldrunners for the crown), but I'm still waiting for a deeper gaming experience. Where's the true StarCraft or Diablo equivalent? Either game would be awesome on the iPad.

For all those who claim Jobs is a selfish megalomanic and Bill Gates is a benevolent saint, I invite you to compare Jobs' house plans with the home (fortress?) of Mr. Gates.

Are you serious? Apple's easy buck-a-song model is the only reason the music industry is still breathing right now.

@jimothy: Agreed, I think this "avant-garde" interface styling is going to get tiresome in day to day use. Do I really want an interface that replicates peering through a hole where you can't see the whole picture? Swipe. Fade. Transition. Swipe. Swipe. Swipe. It will probably be tiresome by the end of the

Huzzah for "find in page" in Safari! That missing feature almost bugs me as much as the lack of copy/paste once did.

With a philosophy like that I suspect Mr. Pincus might be getting a call from Microsoft headhunters soon...

Sweet looking game. Here's hoping for an iPhone/iPad version. Unless this is a "Microsoft exclusive," which wouldn't be a surprise as Microsoft is infamous for shelling out big bucks for such arrangements.

Isn't it due to people buying stuff they don't really need that provides most of us with paid employment? Good luck to the economy when apples and sunshine are all people care about. It's a nice hippy dream and all, but pretty catastrophic for everyone from a practical perspective.

Easy there fandroid, you'll get spittle on your screen.

Who said Jobs was talking about phones?

Haters gotta hate...

Winbots vs. Fandroids in an astroturfing battle royale! Oh baby, this is gonna be EPIC!
