What you should do is discuss with your credit union about refinancing an auto loan. Most credit unions do this, the cost is usually minimal, and the rates are still competitive. This would allow you to take whatever rate the dealer wants to push and lower it later through your credit union.

Only if they’re willing to be killed or permanently disabled for Tangerine Hitler.

And now to sit back and wait for Republicans to condemn Fox News for violating freedom of speech...

Looks like the dealer is also in the business of flipping in his body shop.

Probably traded in to cover the markup on a Palisade

I should tell the stories of me taking Smarts where they don’t belong. There’s even a picture of me trying to pull a Tacoma out of the same mud bowl with the Smart.

He was holding the brakes the whole time so I didn’t stand a chance. lol

Being a reformed VW fanboy, it’s funny to see some of the first comments here. Some answers for the culturally uninformed:

This is so great. I want to do this so bad. I’ll see what they offer and then put $5,000 on top. “Oh KBB is just the suggested market price, we have a market condition adjustment”

Get a rattle-can of Tru-Coat and, uhh, seal the deal!

That’s... not how anything works.

Anecdotal: Two years ago I briefly fell out of love with my ‘16 Miata over an out of warranty a/c repair. In a snit I took it to Carmax to get a quote. They offered me around $16,500 with the car showing 27k miles. Didn’t pull the trigger.

Dealers, I have a car to sell. It’s in high demand and very desirable. Perhaps you can meet me at the location of my choice? I’d like to develop a relationship with you. We can sit down and talk about how much you can afford to pay me, maybe put it in four handy little boxes labled “CASH”, “lotsa money”, “big moolah”

Always record the next slot...

Yup, Mazespin just beat Lewis Hamilton in a race they both finished. He’ll always have that!

Did he get promoted back up from Alfa Romeo? I haven’t been paying the most attention to F1 prior to race day.

You are entirely right. “I just spent $85 for an oil change in my SLR” just isn’t newsworthy. No bragging rights there.

If a supercar does not cost a fortune to maintain, it is not really a supercar then is it?

This screenshot messes with my brain

1. Driver visibility.

Look, I’m usually an all Miata, all the time kind of guy but $6500 is just too much for a nearly 30 year old car with 200k on the odometer, warning lights on the dash, and a frankly ugly color combo with the faded tan/black look.
