I think it’s to reduce emissions – not impact fuel economy. I have a car with auto stop/start, it’s a total non-issue for me. I can barely even notice it.

The outside line wasn’t better during the start.

Why doesn’t pole position at COTA use the inside line? Seems weird.

Can they stop making the woodchuck grill by 2024 as well?

I actually sold to Carmax last week. It took just over 5 hours from start to finish and 99% was just sitting around waiting on them to do the inspection and paperwork.

The U.S. justice system is fucked.

I sold a car to Carvana around this time last year, and it was pretty seamless. I live over 100 miles from their nearest hub, so they drove to their 100-mile limit, and I met them there (about 15 miles for me). At 100,000 miles, a car is no longer reliable.

The BBC documentary “Grand Prix: The Killer Years” documents the safety issues and improvements during the 60's and 70's. Must see.

My favorite driver is Fernando Alonso. For my 40th birthday, my wife had a bakery make a cake that looked like an F1 car with Alonso driving (based on his helmet colors). Everyone at the cake off of Hot Wheels paper plates and napkins.
