When logos are designed (or redesigned) for companies this size, they create every variant that will be used: one color, multiple colors, black, reverse (white on black), etc. We’ll see all those variations once the logo starts going into production.

The negative space formed by the “m” with the underline looks like the two prongs of an electrical plug. I don’t know if that’s what they intended, but it certainly makes sense moving forward.
