I bought tickets for my first Indy 500 this year in hopes of seeing Alonso compete. He’s been my favorite driver for years, and I looking forward to maybe getting an autograph. After his stint with McLaren in F1, I didn’t think I could be more disappointed with the team. I was wrong.

I saw this on the news last night. Hard to believe the driver wasn’t killed. The way he veered into the other lane would suggest either a medical event or distracted driving.
