You know there’s no such as gerrymandering in statewide elections right? At least make your excuses for your loser candidate plausible.

Uhhh what?? No the hell she isn’t. Her senate race was hand picked for her. And the district has heavily voted for Democrats. It was picked for her with the purpose of building for a run for President. And there are a lot of people in the Democratic Party that do not like her. I don’t like her because of several…
The loser who didn’t campaign in Wisconsin (?) during the general tho she lost it to Bernie in the primaries. The loser who doesn’t understand Electoral College math. The loser who lost to a black man named Obama the first time she ran and a Reality TV Star the second.
Oh fucking stop it.
IMO Hilary is infinitely more qualified to be president than many a man that has run and actually won that race, but she was always a hard sell even though she did eventually win the Popular vote
I’m not arguing that it should be that way. I’m saying that it is that way, and it won’t stop being that way for the foreseeable future.
Can we not start with this? This isn’t about misogyny. This is about this one particular, twice-failed presidential candidate who needs to gracefully bow out. Running the same tired candidates is not the path to winning back the White House. We need new people with fresh perspectives who don’t (for better or worse)…
It’s just reality, though. People vote for charismatic politicians. You can be frustrated about it and you can educate people, but part of democracy is allowing uninformed to vote, even if they are glib about it.
Damn, 2004 might actually have been a good year for her. The vote for the Iraq war wouldn’t have been as poisonous as it later became for one.
I’m not even sure what that means, but since I’ve never had a Twitter or Facebook account (nothing good can come from social media), I’m reasonably confident that Russia didn’t interfere in my decision making.
God willing, Gillum’s gonna be busy turning Florida into something besides “Florida.”
What I remember from that time is that she was actually struggling against a relatively no name Republican. When she ran in ‘16 I kept reminding people about this and how she only won the Senator position because of the things you mentioned. I got quite a few dismissive hand waves and here we are today with a fascist…
Math still matters and every fucking vote still matters. And anyone saying otherwise needs to take the goddamn seat next to the seat they’re suggesting for Ms. Clinton.
Is Hillary Clinton president of the United States today? Yes or No?
The popular vote counts for exactly jack shit in this country. It’s the participation ribbon of presidential elections. The fact is the vast majority of votes in presidential elections simply do not matter. Only votes from about a dozen states matter. Which is why weighing the primary results from the state of Texas…
“and the latter is vastly more important”
Hillary Clinton moved to New York for the first time in November 1999. By November 2000, she had been elected Senator in a state she’d lived in for a grand total of less than one year. Other candidates with far more experience both in public office and in the state, who had already announced their intention to run for…
Oh man can we play the “looks like” game with Matt Patricia?
This is my impression of professional coaches, by their sport:
Patricia to reporter: How you going to sexually assault women if you are slouching like that?
