I’d say if “the real thing” is what we get in stores these days (i.e. cultured milk vs. *the liquid left over from making butter), it’s of course less good, but better than adding lemon juice to milk as a buttermilk substitute.

I wonder how buttermilk powder would work? I keep that on hand because I need buttermilk too rarely to buy it liquid.

Not to mention they're getting paid to do their job. You're probably not getting paid.

When I make tuna salad at home, my go to add ins are Japanese mayo, corse Dijon mustard, fish sauce, Italian seasoning, and any extra salt as needed.

Anyone privy to the cost or where to get a shot with no insurance?

Back in my scout days, one trick they used to teach us was a little bit of glitter in oil. You rub it on your hands, then try to just rinse them, before finally using soap. Teaches what you need and how long it takes to really clean your hands.

Regardless of my seat or row, I wouldn't presume to control the window. It takes 30 sec if that to just have a polite conversation with your cabin mates about your and their preference.

I'll have to look into that when we get around to renoing the bathroom. I definitely want to start installing instant water heaters rather than the outdated tank system.

I like to use I’ma, in place of I’m going to, some people are fine with it, other people think I don’t know how to write.

If a word is used enough that it’s in the common vernacular, then it’s a word, regardless of what institution says so.

Im joining the choir of people who don’t get why anyone leaves the sink running while they brush their teeth. I didn’t even know this was a thing. It’s just straight up waste.

Ugh. I started taking a 100lv electrical engineering class to this effect, cause hey, I’ve been building and repairing small electronics since I was a kid.

In MD WaWa, Royal Farms, and 7-11 tend to be the most ubiquitous gas stations/convenience stores. WaWa coffee is my go to; 7-11 is terrible, and I can't speak to Royal Farms because their food isn't worth the hype, so I don't usually end up there for anything but gas and a bottle of water.

You might be surprised. I’m in the middle, my older brother is 5yrs older, and my younger 10yrs younger. Sure, we had times when we didn’t live with each other growing up either because of complicated family dynamics or just different life stages, but we are very close.

Create filter for "unsubscribe" that marks all as read; occationally sort by that filter and delete. No service needed.

There’s also psychology to support that drivers in bad traffic conditions feel trapped and that leads to dickish behavior. Just breath, ignore your monkey brain, and calm down.

I thought for sure this was going to be; a parent is less likely to be a weirdo who walks off with your lost child.

Can we stop the god damn millennial blaming. We’re all now drinking age at least, some going on 40. We have jobs, we buy houses, we buy cars, we have familes, we pay our debts, we pay our taxes.

Oh, I’m the kind that always moves out of the way of a faster moving car, but, with the exception of emergencies, if you’re in a hurry, you didn’t manage your time right.
