Other than a better microphone, I’m not sure why I would buy a Home with these features now available. I’ve got a few old androids lying around that I could just repurpose.

I luckily haven’t had anything stolen yet, (I use lockers when possible, and work when I can without abusing the privilege), but I had one package delivered to my house where USPS stuck the package between my trashcan and the exterior wall.
I was explicitly told by an older scout not to tell my eagle board that I was atheist. therefore, I did not complete the rank because I didn’t want to lie.
“They only ask that boy subscribe to some belief in a higher order.”
‘Try thinking a little further ahead than “right now.”’
on android oleds, too, you can get screen filter apps that will darken the screen even more than the minimum. doesn’t work on lcds, though, and I don’t know if similar implementations will be developed for the iPhone.
I cook in a lot of different kitchens, so I like the boil method because it removes more variables (stove’s output, number of eggs, amount of water, time to come to a boil)
nothing wrong with experimenting, but staring your eggs in cold water is almost guaranteed to cause the whites to stick to the shell. this is discussed ad nauseum on food blogs.
“most people put the eggs in the pot first, cover them with cold water, and bring it to a boil; they then either turn the stove down to simmer or cover the pot and remove it from heat entirely, and that’s when they start counting”
a whipping siphon will also allow rapid flavor infusions
I don’t know why people have such an issue with bc coverage.
Even though I’m the primary cook in my house, I’ve been opposed to the mentality of “I cook, you clean”. If you never clean up after yourself, you never learn what a mess you make, and you never learn to streamline.
hopefully we’ll be buying here in the near future. can’t wait to have my own, not rental kitchen
me personally, I’d rather wash a few dishes than my biggest cutting board that won’t fit in the sink all the way
you can cut down significantly on your dishes using mise if you pay attention to what ingredients can be combined pre-cooking. Like, onions, carrots, and celery in the same bowl.
Not to mention, starting a new government isn’t as simple as just overthrowing the last one.
“the intent of the 2nd amendment is expressly clear in that citizens have the right to access weapons equal to the military so that in a time of need, they can overthrow said military and government”
We’re not a meat-free house, but we eat a lot of vegetables. I love when I’m feeding a particular meat-eater and they rave about how good the vegetables were.
I lived in China for a few years, and what I tell people about Chinese cuisine is that meat is a flavor; a lot of traditional dishes, including tofu, are cooked with meat, but not very much of it because it was, until recently, pretty expensive.
It sounds like a lot, but when you divide it out, it’s 3-4oz of meat per day, which is a totally reasonable amount (from a health stand point, ignoring environmental and moral factors).
