Yeah, basically this. CW network still has rights to air shows as re-runs every so often within the year, streaming only allows the last 5 episodes, and then at the end of the year they all unlock. It’s a carryover from the old system. 

This makes some sense, because Universal Studios is where the Harry Potter theme park is. So I assume the film rights are part of a larger overall deal tied to the amusement park licensing.

No it doesn’t. It aired Friends when it had a distribution deal with rights for first broadcast only. After that the rights went back to the owner, the company that actually made the show.

It should always be noted that Ken’s match against Watson was fundamentally unfair.

I think in the Watchmen universe, a bunch of products were made with Manhattan-like powers. I think some of Veidt’s business was selling stuff made out of new tech that came from studying Dr Manhattan. So that could just be a levitating magnet toy from Veidt industries.
