Kickoff for the first games in the West is @ 10AM. Born and raised in California and now live on the east coast. 10AM games are the best followed by 6PM MNF games. Staying up for 10:05 first pitch Dodger games sucks.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that if before conference play starts a team has a 71% chance to have the best conference record in a 10-team league, they’re also going to be a rather strong favorite in the conference tournament. But thanks for the pedantry.

Intentional strikeout question. What about this scenario? Your team is comfortably ahead, it starts to rain hard and it’s only going to get worse. You want to get to an official complete game before the game is cancelled for weather.

Given that a million people here have made the NIT joke, and that we are about to enter college football bowl season (complete with determining which 5-win, sub-.500 teams get to qualify based on graduation rates) I think making fun of this as either a soccer thing or a European thing is absurd.
