Plenty of players fit that description. Most don’t get half the shit Cam does.

Hey dipshit, pretty sure Magary is agreeing with you. Or do you think that “police misconduct showreel” is a good thing? Are you one of those dipshit Trumpkins who cheer police brutality?
As takes go, this isn’t even lukewarm.
Hitting that far at that age isn’t crazy. What’s impressive is that he did it with a little league bat and off a not particularly hard throwing pitcher, meaning he generated most of that power himself.
Dude. That’s some devastating stuff.
And the crazy thing is that we were probably willing to take it, to the tune of $300-$400 million public dollars, but that wasn’t enough for Spanos.
I’d never heard this “Bortles is a drunk” thing, but it explains a lot. Kinda makes me happy for him, all this time I thought he was actually trying hard and just sucked.
Nah. If nitpicking the logistics of such a hypothetical bet is the only criticism you can muster about this excellent piece then you really have nothing and are just hoping to pick a fight.
Fine, he merely mangled the interpretation of the survey, not the survey itself. That’s the point being made here. You’re so eager to whip out your calculator that you basically missed the entire point of the article.
No, the issue is with Rovell. He latched on to a small cross section of the survey and touted it both as meaningful and significant in order to generate a talking point.
Some people might know for sure at the extremes (new fans who watch a lot or fans who quit watching football altogether). But the average person isn’t keeping track of the hours invested year over year. People are notoriously bad at estimating things like that after the fact.
So... significantly less than the majority?
I see your game now. Go fuck yourself with your Bernie 2016 sign.
Just pointing out part of the problem with your point. I seriously doubt that moving further left is going to help us pick up Senate seats in Kansas or Wyoming. Hell, Ron Johnson managed to whip full blown liberal Russ Feingold in Wisconsin last November. There’s a lot more to winning elections in this system than…
We had that. His name was Barack Obama. He won 2 elections handily.
In the case of the Senate, this is a problem of structure. The 52 Republicans who “control” the Senate represent 35 million fewer people than the 48 in the minority.
Um... were these people supposed to resign or something? Presumably most of them actually did win election in 2016 or an election close to that.
Do they? Hatred of incumbency can be a great motivator and winner of elections. A big part of Trump winning was people voting against Hillary for personal reasons (or often choosing simply not to vote because they just couldn’t live with themselves if they voted for her, no matter how much they hated Trump).
Something is missing here. What was the alleged purpose of this Stanley Washington in pulling this stunt?
That’s a special kind of old man complaint. Not that the kids were annoying, but that you couldn’t find a seat because of them.
