Ooh, I had one of those the other night and it was unsettling, but eerily beautiful. Rainbows and dramatic light on mountains, etc. Apparently my subconscious is an amazing cinematographer.

I think both look ridiculous.

I dunno. I am a little older than JA and my legs are nowhere near as fab, but in a recent race photo (I'm a runner), I could see the exact same thing happening on my legs — something about the motion and impact seemed to really make it visible even though it's not so apparent if I just stand still. Even at my

I love you.

So much ugh.

*shudder*

This. It's often difficult to tease out whether the core problem is addiction or mental illness (bipolar in particular) because they coexist so frequently. I'm glad she is somewhere where treatment for either/both issues can (hopefully) start. This has to be incredibly painful for her family, and it's clear she is in

"the easiest way to keep your relationship going is to really love each other, be interested in each other and give each other the room to be themselves/do their own thing"

Not missing a whole lot anyway. I've been to 47 of the 50 states, and FL ranks well down the list of ones I want to visit again.

In one-on-one conversation, that's one thing. Posting it on social media is another. My BFF is a surgeon and she tells me stories about her patients, but she never, ever would post anything about her job on FB. That is just plain unprofessional.

How is it that you are still grey? Sigh. I am too.

Heh. Crotchety. I see what you did there.

"My nose comes off."

I thought of that too! Except we did get to see Spike crack up — "You're a wee puppet man!"

I have yet to attempt a full marathon (just half ones up to now), so maybe I've never really done enough miles to test the toenails. I think you might be right that some people just have more tendency to lose them than others.

Ah, you are my hero. Thanks!

Oh geez. I found myself holding my breath once I started reading your post. That would seriously traumatize me.

Oh, that GIF. I need it.

I'm a runner too, but have never feared for my toenails. I was told that losing them is the result of wearing too-tight shoes. Could that be the case for you?
