I’ve been thinking about this all day—people have talked a lot about “surveillance culture”, and the way that constant monitoring changes our lives, but I’m starting to think that one of the biggest changes will be the way it strips away the myths we have about our culture. Police have always been given wide leeway in

The nerve of some peephole...

Not hyperbole. He also broke the NBA (& HIS OWN ALREADY) 3 pointers made record & there’s still like a quarter of the season left to play. The 3 pointer isn’t that new, so, that’s kind of fucking crazy & he’s been so unbelievably good, that 3 point record thing is just a note. Nobody is really talking about it. This

Oh good. Me too. I don’t like the articles where I don’t know how to feel. I actually looked at the comments thinking "maybe somebody will get me fired up by telling me what I'm supposed to be mad about."

Glad to see someone defending young, blond white girls!

I was literally thinking the same exact thing and almost wrote that.

at the risk of sounding horrible, that right there might be the only reason religion is worth anything: perspective

“We didn’t lose her. When you lose something you can’t find it. I know exactly where my wife is.”

I’d argue after a certain score differential aggressive play is just being an asshole. In baseball after a certain point you just take one base on a hit. In basketball, stop pressing (if they were) or aggressively hitting the offensive boards.

Be honest. Who looked at the picture and thought the red team won?

If I had already caught my kid in touch with men online I would be surveilling the hell out of them. Keystroke loggers, the whole nine yards. I don’t fault these parents but yeah, spy spy spy if that is what it takes.

Well this wasn’t the ball movement that Coach Pop was hoping for.

Just what he needs, another giant balled spot.

I thought the days of “rock-hard artificial turf” and blaming artificial turf for injuries was over. Seeing as though turf technology has come a long way from the days of what was essentially carpet over concrete back in the day.

The only even half-compelling argument for combat zone assignments is not enough women would be able to pass the physical fitness requirements to make it worth the time and resources. There’s no argument against extending the general draft to consider everyone for positions they’re physically capable of doing, though.

As a woman, it is hard to argue for equality without agreeing that women should have to register. So bring it on. Give us the same rights and requirements as men.

Now that we are “allowed” in combat zones, I agree. Great us as full citizens.
