Counterpoint: the state failed to prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

It’s generally pretty bad but depends on the judge. I used to power my phone all the way down for hearings but after a while (because lazy) decided that silent +airplane mode/do not disturb would suffice. Of fucking course the day I forget to silence and JUST have it on DND some random ass alarm goes off in a hearing.

I was hovering around a capital punishment joke, and then you had to ruin it. +1

“Don’t all double plays start with a 6-9?” [Wink followed by smile]

I never found monogamy hard.

Just make him go left!

Deep down, we all know that Baylor won’t get the death penalty for this. We know that because Penn State didn’t get the death penalty. And deep down, we knew that Penn State wasn’t going to get the death penalty either, because University of Montana didn’t get the death penalty.

Joe Jackson maybe. Pete Rose knew what that rule was and it’s in every single clubhouse at every level. No “grey area” or “competitive advantage”. So hell no.

This is the exact reason my ex and I have never argued over support payments. We’re both very practical people, and would really prefer not to give away ourmoney to lawyers.

Dying on the cross of Mike Brown is a terrible argument to make in regards to justice not being done. The narrative didn’t fit anything in the forensic reports.

Tough to look at what’s gone on in recent years and say small market teams really needed the help. Kansas City won the WS and got to another game 7. MLB right now doesn’t look like it’s about who’s spending money but rather who’s well run.

Sounds like someone’s gunning for a cabinet position.

Mine’s getting me a girls weekend for herself. That means three days of neither shower nor pants.

Stop blaming the voter. That is a losers perspective. And we will keep losing with this mindset. Blame democrats for nominating a hugely unpopular candidate. Nominate popular candidates. Duh
