Did the editors remove key evidence that would have made this judging decision make sense?! Jurgen came in first in the technical, and the only thing the judges faulted him on in the showstopper was (checks notes) the color of his entremet boats? Which they wanted more piping on? His display was much more arresting…

I think the most powerful movie-viewing experience I ever had was watching that film in a theater with my mom and grandmother. It cut straight to the bone.

This is how I feel about all the Louis CK comedy I refused to take at face-value (“surely it’s just a bit”) 10+ years ago. Can I have my laughter back?

I agree, Keeley’s remorse was a bit glossed over, but I think she knows she messed up and will communicate more directly in the future. The person who said this conflict was wrapped up a little too neatly nailed it, though.

I agree! The episode had lots of incidental pleasures but zero actual stakes. After such a tense, surprising episode last week, it felt like all the air had been taken out of the tires (tyres). Definitely wanted some follow-up on Dubai Air!

I love this idea. The Life Aquatic is my favorite movie of his!
