Lots of great stuff already listed. Here's one I don't see listed yet: I have an "I am awesome" notebook that I use to store awards, compliments, thank you notes, supportive facebook posts, etc. I'm a teacher and so I also capture positive student reviews. Definitely good for those days you aren't feeling so

At doctors' appointments, I make quick notes of my daughter's latest measurements (height, weight), prescriptions, etc.

I do a ton of library runs and fill out endless forms of health info for myself and my kids. I keep everyone's basic info — ID info, doctor's numbers, allergies — in Evernote so I can fill out forms easily. And keeping all the library cards in there ensures I can pick up everyone's holds and for them.

By far the most helpful notebook for me, I just call Home. Inside I save pictures of light bulbs and which lights they go to, fridge filter size, the size of my storm windows, battery for my garage door opener, etc. Basically anything consumable that I will eventually need to replace.

I save photos of my apartment that are marked up in Skitch to Evernote. The photos have measurements for when I decide to do some sort of home improvement they're there for me to pull-up when at IKEA, Home Depot, etc.

Tried this once. Smells great. Works well. It just clogs my razor and takes forever to rinse out between strokes.

I always try to find great gifts for family, friends and colleagues. If I'm browsing at a store, reading something online or in print, or just hear a mention—it all goes in Evernote. If it's for a specific person, I'll put it in the note. When birthdays or holidays come around, I'm not scrambling for ideas. Sure,

I don't drive my car a ton, and I (embarrassingly) still haven't memorized my new license plate number. So, I snapped a photo of it, stored it in an Evernote notebook called "car", and now have quick access to it whenever I need it (like when I'm registering for overnight street parking at the in-laws). That way I

Glad to finally see some love for Lush!
I use their Dirty shaving cream and the smell of it alone actually makes me want to shave.

I definitely use it to look up which comics to read!

Mine has mostly become a $400 comic book reader. Unfortunately, I don't use it for most tablety things I should.

Sorry your thing didn't win bro.

If you aren't willing to walk away you aren't really negotiating.

Breville Pro electric wok...

The other con is that your family members will steal yours... I've lost a few to wife and kids over the years, when they realize that yes, this will not spill.

They actually deserve that. In the interview he makes it pretty clear that the analogy he is using is very premature and that he hopes the Puljos comparison is not the case here. They took a 15 second clip majorly out of context. For a radio show that is supposed to be as good as they are it was pretty bad.

TWEET THE LEG BILLY

My main problem with a lot of travel mugs is that they actually work TOO well. There's a fine line between keeping coffee warm and keeping it so scalding hot that I still can't drink it an hour later.

Honestly, a quick email giving her a head's up is a good idea. If you two had a clean break without any hard feelings, then there's no reason why you couldn't just send a note saying "I just wanted you to know, I've been assigned to your lecture. Didn't want you to be surprised or make things awkward."

It's a simple
