Given that he has a idiot son-in-law position the only thing he needed to do was not cause people to be pissed off at the company. Clearly, he couldn’t even manage that.

Do his essays, SAT scores and extracurriculars stack up to other applicants? Scholarships are very competitive. HE’s going up against students who went to high school for 4 years and did an incredible number of things during those 4 years.

I can point out some things that are obvious red flags for me in considering a candidate like this.

I mean, the article is being quite a bit dramatic, but he should consider just attending an inexpensive state school, taking out student loans, and going to college like many of us (like your’s truly) do/did. It’s still a good investment, especially given that he’ll still qualify for need-based aid.

Hi. I graduated HS at 15 as well. Not nearly as amazing as this kid and his GPA (internet RPGs were more compelling than school that last year). No one knew what to do with me and I ultimately ended up going to Community College and transferring as that was the only way my family could afford the cost. Our education…

If he has a thin resume beyond his stellar GPA, big schools might hesitate to offer a scholarship.
