For what it’s worth, unless you were employed by John Hancock, this wasn’t a limitation put in place by them. If they are just acting as the custodian/recordkeeper for the plan assets, then they will just use the principal, interest rate, and any payments applied against the loan to calculate the outstanding balance,

It is not the law. You can make extra payments on your 401k loan without breaking the law. The ability to make extra payments is governed by the plan document or the accompanying loan policy, which is effectively drafted by the sponsoring employer (usually from a pre-approved template).

I’d go so far as to call this the perfect article. Timing, Target, Subject, Substance, Author, all perfect; could not have been more right, or more capable of filling in the holes of what I know to be true, but remain unable to communicate to others so clearly.

....

I know I’m in the greys with the deplorables, but the folds in that letter suggest it came in an envelope, hopefully one with a return address. Please tell me someone saved that envelope!

Good.

Not reading the other comments, don’t care what anyone else says.... this is the best argument against robo-umpires I have seen or will ever see, making this late September game far more entertaining than it had any right to be.

Why can’t I star the tweet? Can Kinja do something about this?

FWIW, I noticed the X in the upper-right corner. So there!

So you’re saying a sample size larger than 1 is needed for a more accurate conclusion in this experiment?

This assumes that everyone who is not walking up the escalator is doing so by choice, instead of using the escalator as a substitute for the much slower option of a remotely located lift. Granted, their numbers may be a small percentage of the standing population, but that doesn’t change the fact that for some, it is

Fact #1: Jim made a snarky comment suggesting he thinks very little of the idea that his “student” athletes are taking other more egalitarian routes to the NBA than running through the NCAA sweatshop while pretending its for the education for a year.

November isn’t really the deadline. I mean, ya, they might lose enough seats in November where they no longer have the votes, but those seats don’t actually switch hands until 2019. Don’t tell me anyone here believes that just because they lost an election in November, that they wouldn’t take all of the rest of that

This take is only acceptable because they are enjoying this success without the assistance of the flat-earther who would undoubtedly be the narrative “leader” if they were enjoying this same success with him on the floor.

The only trollbait this comment is missing is an unrelated claim that the picture for the article shows Nigel wearing an orange jersey.

Don’t forget the delivery fee, and the fact they taxed the gratuity amount.

I can’t figure out if I like this joke more because it’s accurate or just because it makes fun of Lance Stephenson. I should be able to give 2 stars for this.

Came here to say this. Should’ve finished the dunk and then had that reaction if the ref didn’t give him the continuation.

It goes beyond investment options. While the Roth 401(k) option is great - because of the higher contribution limit and the fact that there are no artificial limits based on AGI - the Employer-sponsored plan that has the Roth option likely does not allow you to withdraw the after-tax contributions from that account at

Uh.... what’s a “joke friend”? Do you realize how cavalier you’re being?
