Thanks but no.

[...] decently appointed 2017 BMW 330i.

I appreciate your instincts and initiative.Your cousin may not, but I like your style.

As far as I know those Jags never came with stick shifts. So there is no off the shelf solution for clutch pedals, etc.

So far, the Tesla fanboys have excused the flaws and defects. But the 3 is targeted way beyond that small crowd, and you’re right, letting the build quality slip, or even be as bad as the early Model X’s, will turn off a ton of people.

Nice price? You could buy a comparable camper and a capable vehicle to tow it for far less.

If only somebody would just make a car that already had an LS in it.

Hey thanks for the toothbrush tip. The Mango I was sharpening for the job wasn’t holding a good enough edge.

I think I’d rather see a sales tax on vehicles that fall below a specific MPG threshold. That would force the people who want those ghastly huge trucks to pay for it without hitting poorer people who rely on mass transit or small cars to get where they’re going.

All CL ads say... “AC just needs a recharge”.
Which translates into...”It’s broken beyond repair.”

A little hesitant because the AC isn’t working, and it’s in Texas so it’s not like the owner didn’t have any use for AC anyway so he didn’t bother, so it sounds like he either couldn’t get it fixed because the parts were unobtainable or because it would have cost a ton of money. But it’s a 99 with no visible rust!

Maybe 6 is for regular mode, and 7 is for EPA cheating mode?

stuffy ovations, meet goofy salutations, keep your rogue, life’s cup carries my libations.

Shut your evil mouth! I’ve always had an unhealthy love of the vehicross

The earlier ones were fantastic. Because astronauts.

A 1970 LT1 Corvette. I don’t care what others think about C3 Corvettes, those are damn cool.

YugoCabrio?

I agree wholeheartedly. I’m a Union teacher, and my grandfather, dad, uncle and cousins are or were Union Pipefitters, and my other grandfather (and my dad for a time) was in the UAW. I had a good life (and continue to) because of Unions.

You are 100% correct. Non unionized blue collar jobs (skilled and unskilled) that you can make a good living from and a career are few and far between.

I’m sure it’s going to create some backlash, but I’ll say it anyway. This is why Unions exist. This coming from someone who currently has a deposit on the Model 3.
