The replay officials incorrectly said the play was not reviewable due to confusion as to what the call on the field was. The play was supposed to be called dead after it hit the batter’s back foot. This took 3 minutes to still get the call wrong.

They ruled it was a strikeout and wild pitch, so the batter can take 1st because the catcher did not record the put out.
