Credit Cards charge stores what? 1, 2, or 3% for using those cards which involves everything Apple does but the ‘review’ option. And that included profit. Those companies actually provided the money as well until their users paid their bills off.

No, they don’t have to do it that way. What i mean is Marvel built their product up. They didn’t just say ‘we’re marvel, we’re owed success and your money because we’re Marvel’. They started smaller and built up a reputation of success and quality.
When MS added things like bitdefender and virus fighting stuff into windows, they were admonished by governments and advocates (admittedly not hugely, but were nonetheless) for doing something free for users that would hurt the bottom line of AV companies (i.e., stifle competition somehow).

All the current board of Disney and Chapek care about is how to raise the stock price. Nothing else. If gambling will bring in more money, you can pretty much bet they’ll add it. I imagine they’ve got casino plans in the works as well if that ever becomes legal for them there.

Well, you know, other than Geonosis, Tatooine, mustafar, and Utapuu. Those didn’t look state of the art. The prequels were supposed to look better because it was before the Empire drove everyone into near abject poverty.
I think the kids bit was a bit of mental retcon. It was definitely something set for a more adult audience, but it did have something for kids. There were mature themes throughout.
