It’s kind of funny because they tried hard to adapt the look of the show but not the dynamic camera angles and editing. It gave off a Frank Miller’s The Spirit vibe to me from the little bit I watched. Everything looked beautiful but also flat at the same time.

I remember some industry person saying that there is so much scripted material out there now that nobody could possibly see it all — or want to.

Surprised the screens ever got approved to begin with given they just scream “giant fucking distraction” whatever they’re set to.

So, schools are all about “we can punish you for breaking our code when you are off campus since you have no rights” (see the kid who had a toy gun on his desk at home during a school Zoom class) but ALSO “well, we’re exploring punishment” ... when it suits them? That seems kinda fucked up. (To put it mildly).

I’m not a fan of musicals, Broadway or otherwise*, but I just suffered through the Rogers: The Musical portion of Hawkeye an hour or so ago. With emphasis on “suffered.” That was fucking painful. I would have walked out too, and I didn’t even have the excuse Clint did.

That bit of hero worship actually makes sense. Clint doesn’t have any superpowers, but he can help fight off an alien invasion with just a bow and arrow. I can see how that would make a big impression on her.
