Thanks for the info, I just threw $50 their way.

I watched those clips thinking of Killer Mike in Atlanta and the difference is stark.
I’d rather see receipts for donations made to Black Lives Matter or a memorial fund or a bail fund than a graphic. And I know that’s tacky and borders on humblebragging, but let’s be honest. If you want to do something that requires a minimum of effort while showing how much you care to your Instagram followers, at…
I’m just bemused by the sheer number of accounts I follow in Instagram that haven’t posted anything in months suddenly putting up a black graphic today. I don’t doubt their sincerity, I’m glad for the show of support but it seems so easy as to be kind of meaningless.
In addition to the services being affected, there’s also the matter of how and where the police try to move the protesters. In Seattle last night, the riots and protests were in the downtown/retail core. The cops then went to move them to the International District, filled with elderly people and minority owned…
DC’s Young Adult line has been crushing it! I’ve been following it more than I’ve followed their comics because they’re doing something really interesting here by basically having fun with the premises. They’re not all to my tastes, but at least they’re interesting.
We are also shocked, SHOCKED, to discover that there is gambling in these premises.
And, sadly, Smell-O-Rama....
I mean, I volunteer to punch him in the neck on an hourly basis as a way to communicate that kind of pain...

Yeah but then the danger was present and a part of daily life, not the vague sense that coronavirus is today. Not defending them, truly, just pointing out that the circumstances are different.
MAGA 1939:
There’s a really fascinating exploration of public opinion in the years leading up to WWII at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum here:
I’ve mentioned in the past that I’m starting to feel like the people who do this should be doxed and refused care should they show up with the coronavirus. And I know it’s inhumane and borders on the sociopathic, but this flagrant behavior just screams privilege.
“Age of the geek, baby...”
Honestly, hearing he’s in the film is the first thing that makes me want to see it. I’ve been a fan since Leverage.
And then I want to see him wear a fucking mask. And then I want to watch him take his hydroxychloroquin. All of it. From an impartial third party that’s not going to hand it to him from a fucking PEZ dispenser.
And that’s what he would have done even before the pandemic.
