“I struggled for an hour with one boss,”

Honestly, the country needs more Scott Browns. (And I say this is as an unapologetic Ted Kennedy liberal).

As a non-Pats fan, let me just say: fuck ALL of you Pats fans.

This... was not my best take.

At no level of football are they taught to lead with their head. You don’t have to like or watch football, but don’t lie about it to make a pseudo-dramatic point.

To be fair everyone’s contention seems to be that the guy was already wrapped up

You were “overwhelmed”?

Give me a break.

I have no problem watching after that. I have a conscience, and it is untroubled because I can unequivocally say that I’d let people do that to my head, for 2 million dollars (his guaranteed salary. He can make up to four, potentially).

The play was flagged, and it remains to be seen if Trevathan will be fined and/or suspended.

Trevathan is gonna need a doctor to look at his shoulder and see if they can relocate it from the top of his head back to where it’s supposed to be.

You sure as shit weren’t kidding about being a homer. He’s getting suspended for that ridiculously unnecessary and 100% targeted hit of a defenseless player.

Go sober up and watch it again. Because you should be made to watch it over and over and over as punishment for this stupid comment.

  1. Use of Helmet and Facemask. An opponent must not use his facemask or other part of his helmet against a player who is in a virtually defenseless posture-for example, (a) by forcibly hitting the defenseless player’s head, neck, or face with the helmet or facemask, regardless of whether the defensive player also uses

I guess I’m EXTREMELY not sure how you see that as leading with the shoulder. His shoulders are squared behind his head, and the crown of his helmet impacts Adams’s face mask. That’s about as head-hunting as head-hunting gets.

in what world did he lead with his shoulder?

Honest question - what the fuck is wrong with you? I hope that’s just the drunkenness talking. That was one of the most vicious, and easily avoidable, hits I’ve ever seen.

Should be ejected and suspended. But it’s the NFL after all.

How old were you the last time the Lions won a playoff game?

Counterpoint: sun’s out.
