It’s also possible that Hernandez had CTE AND was a sociopath. His hair-trigger temper was well known since high school right around the time of his father’s death. It seems more likely his problems stem from a number of factors not related to CTE. I agree that the narrative presented is a dangerous and lazy

CTE causes, among other things, poor impulse control...which is inconsistent with the planned, premeditated murder he committed.

This is a whole lot of words to say virtually nothing.

It’s ridiculous to say CTA caused Aaron Hernandez to kill. It’s far more reasonable to say it caused 2, maybe 3 tops, of his many killings.

This is a good soccer man.

They’re replacing play with grind grind that incentivizes more payment. Your character is terrible at the game and you gotta do well to get paid.

It was worth while, if only because it illustrates this point.

The Cowboys made Sheriff Joe’s people boo. Must have done something right. I’m not a fan of Jerry Jones. But maybe kneeling before the anthem didn’t allow the yahoos to make it about the flag. And Jones actually took a knee. I’m very confused right now.

It’s only simple and inexpensive over short distances. Big house? PC and TV in different rooms? Now you’ve gotta worry about buying longer HDMI cables (which are more costly and not readily available at most retail outlets), figuring out how to lay them so they don’t create a tripping hazard, and if it’s more than

I bought a ticket for Dolphins-Jets, and not because I was that bored on a gorgeous early autumn Sunday. I wanted to see what the players would do during the anthem in light of our drunk-uncle president’s blustery threats and insults, and how those demonstrations might be received up in the stands.

I would say the referees sealed the loss with a stupid penalty when two guys were just screwing around a little.

“Unsportmanlike Conduct, number 58, defense. Said “PSYCHE!” to the opposing quarterback.”

If anything the Bills should have been penalized five yards for being too slow.

I realize that this is a very sad thing to say if you’re reading this as a fan of a halfway functional team — the Lions feel different this year, and this was one of the worst dickpunches I can remember. This was actually worse than 0-16 because with 0-16, well shit, it was clearly the deserved result.

Gotta be Sacramento, traditional doormat, close but not really near better places and California taxes.

I’m sold on the Harden-Paul pairing being the most entertaining disaster this year.

Not saying it going to happen but Paul George being in a contract year does not matter. George will get a max contract no matter what next season

I dunno, man! This might be the year when the Spurs finally slide down a peg, and I’m not totally sold on the Chris Paul-James Harden pairing in Houston. If nothing else, that tier of teams in the West should be a ton of fun.

So, Sam Presti is some kind of literal wizard, right? He’s simultaneously added Paul George and Carmelo Anthony while also dumping the two worst contracts and keeping the few good players he started with. None of it makes any sense.

Not with that kind of attitude
