okay. Thanks for your weekly “THE WORLD WILL END IF EVERYONE DOESN’T UNIONIZE!” blog post.
So one company that has yet to find “a path to profitability” buys another one and . . . its employees decide to unionize?
A perfect three-way where everyone gets screwed: Kyrie to the Knicks, Melo to the Pacers, and Oladipo/Sabonis to the Cavs! And, for some reason, everyone gets future Nets draft picks!
Dude, I’ve gone through some impressive, some might say majestic dry spells, so I understand the ins and outs of the yips. But thirteen years? It’s not rough, it’s not about deal-breakers, it’s you. You’re not making an honest effort, for your own reasons.
Agreed. I hate it. I don’t watch videos on NY Times, WaPo, CNN, ESPN etc. I go to these sites with the expectation of reading. The autoplay videos are the absolute worse. ESPN has them for nearly every article.

How often does the Dallas PD actually conduct a full investigation into someone getting punched in a bar? If this were anyone else, unless there were video evidence the case would have disappeared within 24 hours anyway.

Texas grad here, too, by the way. Please recognize that Mack Brown’s mediocrity involved (1) OU and (2) anything post-2009. He was a demonstrated winner otherwise. Good man; good coach; good ambassador. My statement, “[h]e stayed ahead of the coaching curve and was unrelenting in recruiting” is very far from…
If it were only that simple. Be careful, though; “We’re Texas so we should be awesome” comment reeks of bias :)
The Longhorn Network was founded in 2011. Texas’s underachievement predated this by at least 2 years. Mack Brown failed as both coach and administrator after the 2009 NC loss.
Brown’s program was wildly…
LHN was not the product of “delusions” or an “arms race.” ESPN agreed to pay Texas a minimum of $15 million per year guaranteed for 20 years. Texas took the money. Texas is doing fine financially and will continue to do so. It just can’t seem to hire an athletic director who cares about anything else.
How did things go so bad for the teams in Texas, well:
Baylor: finally got caught.
Tech: fired their best coach then finally replaced him with a coach who can put a similar offense on the field. They still can’t play a lick of defense. Nothing New here.
A&M: has always kinda sucked with a few good seasons sprinkled in.…
Patterson’s been in Fort Worth going on 17 seasons and has topped 10 wins in six out of the past nine years;
What year are you posting from?
Not. Even. Close. Dane Cook is just a bad comedian.
And here you are getting worked up about an internet comment...maybe you should reevaluate as well!
counter-argument: hillary is a bad candidate. Only winning the popular vote by 3 mil and losing the electoral college outright to Donald Fucking Trump and his band of bumbling rejects and racist assclowns means you are a bad candidate.
People can sit there and say Hillary was a bad candidate, but she beat Trump to the tune of 3M+ in the popular vote and that just eats him up. She wasn’t a bad candidate, she was the unfortunate result of an electoral college system that nowadays has a built in advantage in the red states.
