I suppose I don't understand how that erases the mythological part. The Kyptonian settler play could have happened millennia before civilization as we know it existed. It's kind of a Stargate SG-1 play, where our mythology actually comes from ancient aliens that had technology too advanced for mankind to fathom.

I suppose I don't understand why this is controversial. Google is a corporation looking to push the boundaries of technology. This seems like a brilliant way to showcase those technologies while providing an event space for all kinds of things, all with a unique experience on the water. To me, this sounds awesome.…
