Pretty much everything is under 7 seconds, so it really doesn’t matter anymore. I stopped reading 0-60 times about 15 years ago. Corollas and Odysseys are faster than performance cars from the late 90's/early 2000's. Completely irrelevant figure these days. 

I will be one of the first real people to drive one. I sell Hondas for a living and my dealer is getting 2 at first. One we will keep and one to sell. I will flog this thing first chance I get.

Or, the Jetta was made with some bad design flaws and was built using the cheapest parts available to VW...
