I don’t really understand the author’s world building criticism either. One of the attractions of this series is “Robot Dinosaurs” so it makes total sense that a huge part of the game is discovering “Why robot dinosaurs.”
I almost get where they are coming from because game companies’ partnerships with outlets/content creators aren’t always stated bluntly...
