I think the bigger tragedy is the this book was made into a movie. My fingers are crossed that Alex Graland threw the book in the trash and re-wrote it himself.

you are absolutely right. the cop should have pressed his magic pause button and figured the best course of action. Obvsiouly it would have been better to tickle the bat wielding man in to submission.

What if a small child would have wondered into the path of this guys rage? We are so quick to arm chair quarterback these situation. Yes its a tragedy, but short of pulling some Harry Potter magic out what options were left. Sometimes people get killed by police. Not every time is it malicious.

Good grief. I am so tired of this story over and over and over again! Poor Kaepernick is the innocent victim. Kaepernick made a choice to protest while on the job, and during the national anthem. He wants to wear shirt, march on the Capitol, take his fight to social media, fine protest away. Do it on your own…

One thing that I did not see mentioned is the negative impact from the recently completed bridge project had on the downtown. And the fact the now completed bridges require users to pay tolls. Its doubtful any of that was factored into the projections.
