Latin has a neutral third gender. I literally have two gender non-comforming children who I love and support in every way I can, along with their friends, but sure go ahead and call me a bigot. 

It sounds crazy but what if we just called everyone friend or something instead of using pronouns? English doesn’t need them like romance languages and Latin actually had a genderless gender called “neuter” (horrible choice of words) in its speech.
