Yup, I've found a small chocolate of some sort every other day or so helps stave off serious sugar cravings. But, I make myself walk to the Walgreens at lunch or in the afternoon (about 4 or so blocks there and then 4 back to work) to get a piece. It helps two-fold. 1. Exactly. They're here and we are not in a position to change what we eat on such a level as to not require non-native pollinators. We are definitely in a position, though, to make things easier on the bee when they are pollinating by using less mega-crops and going back to rotating crops more.
I'm in the French Quarter of New Orleans and there is a shared courtyard but its just not a great location for keeping em space wise. I live in New Orleans. There's already honey bees here. Even the zoo keeps em! And there's plenty of delicious local honey to be found.
