"As I said, this is looking like Fringe's last season — and I'm not convinced the show has really been making a case lately that it deserves a fifth season. "

haha! I'm having a lot of trouble waiting for April for my GOT live action fix.

haha You're right, I was trying to find the Gaiman quote and just stumbled through some castiel/constantine pics and rambled it into my typing! I have no idea why my brain didn't separate them.

Very cool...but I'd like to see some more doods as lady characters.

I saw this the other day and had to actually walk away from the computer because it was too cute. It was overwhelming. I want a sloth so badly!!!!

I enjoyed this episode, historical inaccuracies and all. And yes, Dean looked ridiculously good in that suit. In my dream world he decides to keep dressing that way for the rest of the season just for shits and giggles.

Kripke is a huge Gaiman fan and has said in interviews that SPN basically is American Gods. And Gaiman. Castiel's look is based on Constantine. Gaiman has been asked about it but I can't find the exact quote. He said he's cool with it because Kripke is a fan and comes right out and admits the influence rather than

Stabbing things with the pointy end has been a tried and true way to off someone for thousands of years!

"That man should be in waistcoats more often." When he started rolling up his sleeves in that interrogation scene I thought I was going to have to quit life. Sweet mary moses.

haah I love the Simon's Cat cartoons! I watched a brief interview with the actual Simon and his cat was in the kitchen behind him knocking things off the refrigerator.

Captain Malcolm Reynolds approves of this article.

I still maintain that Ewoks were the best of both children's and adult's worlds. They spent most of their time on screen either 1. Partying hard. 2. Preparing to BBQ people for said party. and 3. bashing in skulls with rocks. 8 year old me could not have been more pleased with the savage teddy bears.

Can't we just pretend it isn't happening? Does anyone really care? Is Phantom Menace in 3D something the public was demanding? Even my mom will randomly bring up how horrible this movie is in phone conversations. I mean just in the past few months. (I'm thinking I should start a blog about my mom and sci-fi.)

I've been using Blu e-cigarettes this week and they're AWESOME.

Several years ago, I cold turkeyed and it stuck for years. Until Katrina brought trauma and I became an on again, off again smoker. And then more trauma and insomnia and last summer I started full on smoking again.

I really didn't want to watch it either...there may have been a wee bit of "nikita stole SPN's timeslot!" (The move to Friday for SPN wasn't good for our tv watch schedule. 3 people out of the 6 I watch with work on Friday nights. Plus for some reason New Orleans airs it an hour later instead of with the east coast

Agreed... Supernatural and Nikita were both way more serious business than I thought they were going to be. Finally got caught up on Nikita just a few weeks ago. Thank you Netflix deal with CW!

I'd really like to see some nods toward X-Men. Specifically to Fassbender who really made Magneto a three dimensional person.

I'm cool with the suit. I'm cool with the ab plates...you gotta have some way for Batman to boast about his rock hard Gold's Gym abs. I'm even more cool with Tom Hardy as Bane and I'm getting a weeeeeee bit super excited about this movie now omg when does it come out I'm sort of dying for it I've also been playing a

Me too! I think Dean plays up the appearance of dumb because, for whatever reason, people have put him in that corner, but by just letting people think it, the bad guys are often underestimating him.
