I went to Tufts too, though I think I graduated before this kid came. Either that or I never ended up at the Crafts House. I do remember the guy a couple years ahead of me who would walk around barefoot year round - even through the Boston winters. Rumor had it that one of his professors refused to allow him in class

Why is it that the universities are dealing with reprimands and not law enforcement? Is it because the incidents are being reported directly to the administration, or are they being reported to city police and then the administration takes over?

I answered the last question "You should message me if..." with "You shouldn't message me if you answered YES to the question 'Does a woman have an obligation to keep her legs shaved?' because fuck you."

I love Dan Pallotta and his book - Uncharitable - is a really great read that I recommend to anyone who thinks Charity Navigator is a valuable metric on where their money is going.

I asked my dermatologist about this recently and this is pretty much how the conversation went:

All the bedroom doors in the house had padlocks on the outside and the rooms were spare with only a mattress on the floor. Their movement through the house was very restricted, the women have told authorities.

I've had to pause this video every 10 seconds to wipe the tears from my face. My coworkers are concerned.

I've gone through 4 bags. Fuck it.

Oh don't get me started on the Cadbury Creme eggs... I found a recipe on how to make them at home so I can have them all year round.

I "maxed out" at 90 pounds when I was 14 and bragged about it for years.

The thing I will never understand is why people feel the need to live-tweet/update a show as they are watching it. I'm as big a twitter dork as anyone, but there is nothing appealing to me about tweeting out things that happen as you watch them. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU KNOW PEOPLE HATE THAT SHIT.

I'm 25 years old and I've never owned an iron in my life. My mom had one growing up, and my college roommate had one, but I can probably count on two hands the number of times I've ironed something.

My hands are under those lights for 3 minutes tops. Thirty seconds after the base coat and each coat of color, and then one minute after the top coat. Every three weeks. SORRY SCIENCE, DON'T CARE.

I second Zenni Optical - I have four pairs from there and they were all less than $20 with lenses. Warby Parker is definitely trendy and a great company, but since I don't wear my frames every day and prefer to have multiple different styles, I'm on board with Zenni!

Do you think maybe we should ask these male legislators if they know what a vagina is? I'm becoming convinced that they are mixing it up with the vulva and therefore think that "transvaginal" means rubbing a wand across my panties.

Compliments are great, but I prefer Random Ass Kicks instead. Far more effective.

I love everything you said. The argument of "you can infect my kids!" is so easily negated with "I don't care about YOUR kids!" but it's a simplified version of what's actually at stake: my health is impacted by the health of those around me, whether it's the common cold or handwashing practices or public sanitation.

Anyone else tired of, on top of everything else the NYT article included, having a non-Millennial try to tell me what Millennials like me do and how they act? It's getting... predictable.

I've gotten a flu shot every since I was 15 because I got the flu when I was 15 and that shit is a pain in the ass. Much more of a pain in the ass than getting a shot in my arm once a year.
