Anyone here a fan of the source material? Despite being written by the frontman of one of the more popular bands of the 2000s at the height of their fame and having a successful series adaptation on Netflix last year, I’ve never really come across another person who has read the comics the show is 70% based on.

I’m confused. Weren’t a lot of old Twilight Zone episodes people talking about something in a room, then a twist happens in the last minute? Could someone correct me on this?

I think you meant “Donald Glover”. Danny Glover’s been a star since the ‘80s.

It’s so weird how the press kit uses “The Four of Us Are Dying” to promote this and not “The Who of You”.

Anyone else have a soft spot for 2007's TMNT? That was actually the first time I learned about the Turtles, being too young to catch any of the live-action movies.

I’m actually very excited for it, except for the rumor that Tony Todd does not make an appearance at all. Hope that's not true.

Well, that’s always been part of the show. Rick always tries to temper Morty’s personality, because a cocky Morty who does what he wants is dangerous, as you can see in Close Rick-counters of the Rick Kind and in Edge of Tomorty: Rick Die Rickpeat.

I’m surprised that Comedy Bang! Bang! didn’t get a mention. They celebrated their 10th anniversary this year with a 10-hour episode/celebration. But I guess this happened before Conan O’Brien invented podcasting so it doesn’t count.

I’m pretty sure Justin Roiland is friends with Elon Musk.

Yeah, it’s just so weird how networks are so desperate to find a surefire hit immediately. P&R, The Office, Community, 30 Rock, Scrubs and Friends. All of these shows started being good after a mediocre first season, or at least that’s my opinion about all of them. They need time and space to grow.

I’m surprised this didn’t mention how Seth Green bailed after the first season, so they decided to make a different opening theme for the next two seasons with the new voice actor with an interesting song choice:

This really highlights how NBC misses the entire point of what they had back in the early 2010s: they keep cancelling shows in the first season because they’re underwhelmed with them not being as big as The Office or Parks and Rec, while ignoring that almost all of their huge shows back then needed at least two

The blooper reel was absolute gold. I'd love it if they just released all the outtakes they had on Netflix.

Interestingly, that’s what the next volume of the comic book will be about. It’ll be interesting to see what they do and compare it to Way’s vision for the other children.

Timberlake was pretty good in The Social Network, but I’m not sure if that’s because he got carried by the fantastic actors surrounding him or if Fincher coaxed out some natural talent from him while filming.

I mean, a good del Toro cameo would’ve been if he met one of the leads as a Pennywise disguise and showed them his list of cancelled projects. Now THAT’S scary.

Better get ready for del Toro's next film: "Slightly Used Shoe Rack"

Mo' Time to (Cream)Pie?

Some people usually blow right past glaring signs and red flags in relationships simply because they assume that they will be the exception to whatever rule the other person is pointing out.

I’m gonna go ahead and give this episode an F for the lack of a Clyde cameo.
