Glad to see the government shutdown ending opened the Smithsonian long enough for this fossil to lumber his way out of the diorama to our airwaves to again ramble on about what he thinks latinx people need in our country.

The bridesmaid who planned the party didn’t know the difference between a shower and bachelorette party. I guess she thought it was weird that the bride had requested she invite so many older family members and work friends, but she must have never questioned it. I generally find penis toy and stripper bachelorette

I’d be happy if we could separate out the abusing animal stories. I seriously do not want to read any of those.

Hello,

I love the blend of supernatural with real life creep! Glad you’re ok.

I posted a story last year kind of late and don’t think I got out of the greys, so here’s to traditions. This is a new one.

I live in a condo complex of attached townhouses. On one side there’s an older lady (in her very late 80s) and two of her middle aged children. They’re all pretty friendly, in that old Italian

I doubt anyone will see this, but here’s a ~minor spoop~ for y’all who have made it all the way to the bottom of the greys! My boyfriend and I live on the bottom of a top-bottom duplex, but with both doors on the ground floor (our neighbors walk in their front door to just a staircase). We’re in a relatively safe and

When I was a teenager I babysat for a family who lived a few kilometers down the road. As I grew up in the countryside near a small village, it wasn’t unusual for houses to be spread out due to farm land. Heck, there’s a house on our street with a full cemetery in the back yard - it’s country. This family was a

Hi Jezebel! I’ve been reading these stories for YEARS! Here’s mine about being pranked by a rock star ghost:

i got to the ham, and i was like, “wait a minute...”

Okay, this might get lost in the abyss, but I know that a lot of folks read these all month. Bear with me, this got a little long as I typed it out.

I don’t have just one really scary story, but a collection of scary things that happened in the house I used to live in:

I’ve never been a superstitious person. Hell, before this incident, I’d never experienced anything remotely paranormal. To me, anything that happened out of the ordinary could be explained one way or another. Yeah I know, it’s one of those cliched “I didn’t believe until it happened to me” kind of deals, but I don’t

i got an embarrassingly long way through this before i realized why the story sounded familiar.

I’ve heard this story before. I think it’s an urban legend.

About 12 years ago I think, I went to my Mom’s house for a Thanksgiving. In the evening we had the TV on low while we were chatting with some other family members. I see my Mom’s brow furrow as she’s looking at the TV, and she said “I know that young man”, and we looked up at the picture of someone on TV. “He was at

omg that’s awesome

This story belongs to my dear friend, we’ll call her Dee. We grew up in in the same tri-city area, but didn’t meet until our 20’s. She became my very best friend- and has remained so for 15+ years, even when we moved to opposite ends of the country.

Repost from last year. Hopefully, this one will survive the greys!

I lived in a series of houses and apartments that could have each claimed to be a horror movie set. Once with my best friend, I was the caretaker for an abandoned house. We slept in sleeping bags next to space heaters and tried to ignore the walls which were all painted in bright colors and then smeared in
