Diversity by definition is at the group level - an individual person is not diverse, they are only diverse in comparison to a group. A white man in department of all Latina females would represent diversity. So yes, Facebook has a large proportion of white and Asian/East Asian employees, and while one of those groups

I know Intel is actively working on attracting and selecting more minority candidates and trying to make their work environment more friendly towards women. So while yes, it is an issue at a number of companies, some seem more concerned about it than others.

I just finished my masters in Industrial/Organizational psychology and have so many thoughts on this... First of all, I would be very surprised if this isn’t a case of adverse impact in hiring. How many Black/Latino/mixed race applicants did they have in 2013? I would guess that if it doesn’t qualify as adverse impact

Nick is apparently very good at making the bachelorette “feel like a woman”- Kaitlin said it last night and Andi said it on her season. What up from Tulsa! (I'm married but I can't resist the opportunity to give an Okie man on Jezebel some love)

The best part of this story is that is that you went and bought Taco Bell instead of just buying taco shells. Hilarious. And disgusting. Oh, the gross things we do to do food in college. And as an RA I got to see the unfortunate aftermath of so many food experiments and challenges... I was not paid well enough to deal

You’re so “fucking smart” but you don’t know a lot is two words? Interesting.

What got me was that her blurb on the fundraising page also randomly capitalizes letters and puts words in all caps, like the anonymous note. That makes me more inclined to think that they could have been written by the same person... Maybe I’m just hopeful that there aren’t multiple people in one neighborhood who
